Lighting that makes a property usable and safe after dark without looking like a runway. We light steps, paths, patios, entries, and specimen trees, run wire before the hardscape closes up, and set fixtures for the effect instead of the catalog.
Good lighting is quiet
You should notice the steps, the path edge, the shape of an oak, and the front door. You should not notice the fixtures. We plan placement around how people actually move through the property after dark, then keep the fixture count honest.

Why it usually fails
Undersized transformers, cheap connections, and wire buried at two inches. Voltage drop is the quiet killer: run too far on wire too small and the last three fixtures look brown. We calculate loads and runs, use waterproof connections, leave capacity for the fixtures you will want later, and bury wire deep enough to survive the next edging job.
Best installed with the build
The cheapest time to add lighting is while a patio or wall or planting project is open. Sleeves and wire go in, fixtures land where the design intends, and nothing gets dug up twice.
